Really sharp analysis on how institutions lose their primary function when boundries blur. The metaphor of 'hollowing out' is spot on because the structure remains but the core purpose gets lost. I remeber working at a nonprofit that started taking political stands on unrelated issues and suddenly staff meetings felt like rallies instead of planning sessions. When every space becomes a platform, nothng stays neutral enough to build actual trust.
Amen. And the Left has been pushing that for decades now, year after year, with each cause a new division, until families and people who worked together fine must start policing what they say, think, until they feel it’s better to stay quiet.
